Casa Bosco
The building, originally from the late 15th century, was modified and brought to its current form in the 18th century. The facade is characterized by the fine arched pedestrian portal with the above arched French window embellished with a balcony with stone columns.
The original period includes the two bricked-up arched windows, preserved as historical memory among the regular arrangement of openings on the main facade.
The house connects to the rustic buildings with a beautiful stone lintel portal that leads into the internal rural courtyard. The decorative band with inscriptions stands out on the street-facing facade, almost certainly representing what remains of a more extensive decoration, created with circular geometric designs in monochrome red, repeated in regular sections, completed with two inscriptions that are not clearly interpretable. The execution technique is fresco with incised drawing.
Currently, Casa Bosco is the headquarters of an important winemaking company with an attached agritourism restaurant.
