Reachable from Cima Sappada by car or with the Piave nature trail (2.5 h). The Rifugio is located near the spring from which the source of the Piave River flows, sacred to the Homeland, where in 2015 the Flame of Peace was placed in the presence of the heirs of the Habsburg House. An ideal destination for comfortable walks or excursions to the surrounding peaks (M. Peralba, M. Chiadenis, M. Avanza, M. Lastroni).
