The new urban itineraries
In 2023, pedestrian tourist itineraries were introduced in the city, allowing tourists to independently enjoy two cultural routes (named “I Palazzi fra Venezia e Impero”, “Il Castello e le Mura”) to enhance the city's historical and architectural heritage.
To the two cultural routes, the section of the Alpe Adria Trail that reaches the town and a green route of 6.5 km following the city parks and green areas along the Isonzo river, named “I Parchi e le Aree Verdi”, were added.
For the route “Il Castello e le Mura”, free guided tours are also available, accessible from April to November by reservation on this page.

The route of "I Parchi e le Aree Verdi" includes guided nature tours, organized by the Associazione Aeson Atlas, which can be booked at this link
