The public natural recreational park, called Collina del Cjastenâr, is located on via Germanica, between the town of Fagagna and the provincial road Udine-San Daniele, and covers an area of about 50,000 square meters.

The area, in addition to the presence of rich tree and shrub vegetation, is characterized by its use for multiple activities related to leisure, sports, entertainment, and various events.

In this sense, various pedestrian paths have been created within the park, some equipped with night lighting, water supply points with characteristic cast iron fountains, and areas equipped with wooden benches and tables.

The visitor can access the park directly from the town center or can arrive by car at the parking lot, which can accommodate about 70 cars, adjacent to the Provincial Road. From these access points, once inside the area, the visitor can choose various ways to spend their time:

• a walk along the avenues up to the two hills, the smaller one and the larger one where a characteristic wooden gazebo is located

• playgrounds for children, concentrated in two areas with a sand base and equipped with treated wooden games

• a modern fitness trail, characterized by 14 pieces of equipment distributed over a route of about 1500 meters.

At the center of the park area, a wooden building equipped with restrooms has been constructed.

In the area called the Botanical Garden, a simplified model of the Querceto Carpineto has been reproduced with the presence of tree and shrub species typical of the area's phytoclimatic zone.
