On the first Sunday of September, the village hosts a traditional village festival which, since 1891, has featured a donkey race (with carts and riders) in Piazza Unità d’Italia. On the second Sunday, a “Palio” competition involving the four hamlets takes place, accompanied by a short play written and performed by the same hamlets of Fagagna, with the scripts, music, scenery and costumes judged by a panel.
