The ancient oratory

This Church was the oratory of the ancient castellans

The title recalls a Lombard settlement.

It is one of the so-called “crippled churches” due to the addition made on the northern side, of a nave for health purposes and for use as a passageway.

It is already mentioned in 1251 on the occasion of the dowry agreements for the marriage of Enrico di Fontanabona with Aurea, daughter of the noble Corrado di Lauzana.

It was restored several times.
