San Nicolò

At the center of the castle complex is the church of San Nicolò, mentioned in 1333-1334 and rebuilt and modified several times.

The bell tower was erected in 1726

On the exterior of the apse is a stone cross attributable to the 12th-13th centuries. The interior is notable for the Renaissance altar of the Risen Christ, linked to the style of the stonemason Bernardino da Bissone. In front of the sacred building, connected to it by a scenic and windowed overpass (also accessible from the ground) stretches the Palazzo Strassoldo del Castello di Sopra, with a beautiful portal topped by a balcony and coat of arms overlooking a large tree-lined garden.
