Castelli Aperti was created with the aim of facilitating access to the historical testimonies represented by the castle sites and other fortified works of the Region.
Overlooking the gulf or situated on green hills, immersed in large parks or at the center of cities where they were the most prestigious residence, numerous castles arise.
There are two "Castelli Aperti" events throughout the year: one in Spring and one in Autumn, events that make it possible to visit public castles and privately owned castles not normally open to the public.
The initiative is aimed at individual visitors who wish to discover some of the most beautiful castles of the Region, behind their doors their secrets: magnificent gardens, halls rich in art, history, and memories of times gone by.
On the ancient stairs of fascinating medieval castles, you can be personally welcomed by the owners, exceptional guides, or by professional tour guides; together with them, you will travel back in time discovering a historical heritage so far hidden.
Guided tours will start at the beginning of each hour on the days and times indicated for each residence.
