The town’s pumpkin festival brings the medieval hamlet to life on the fourth weekend of October every year. It is an almost unique event, thanks to its slightly Goliardic interpretation of the ancient chronicles of Venzone and the surrounding area. Musicians, jugglers, fire-eaters, armigers and characters such as the Archduke of Pumpkins and members of the Sacred Archconfraternity make an appearance, popping up almost as if by magic.
